Sprockets for use with roller chain, generally to provide transmission of power between two low-speed shafts. No slip transmission, minimal overhung load on shaft bearings, generally used in lower speed ranges (e.g. 1-300 RPM). Low cost, rugged performance. Sprockets manufactured to ANSI standards. Material is low-carbon steel. Chain drive efficiency is typically 98%. Stock drive ratios from 1:1 to over 6:1, for applications to over 44,000 lb-in torque.

 Neoprene Backing  The extra double, highly flexible neoprene backing provides excellent abrasion and wear resistance  especially important if power is transmitted from the back of the belt. Backing also guards the tensile cords against oil, grease, dirt and moisture.
Variable Speed Belts
Variable speed drives demand a unique combination of belt features. Because these belts are wide in proportion to their thickness, they must have extreme crosswise rigidity, or else the belt would dish in, throw the tensile cords out of alignment and affect speed control. Recommended for use on variable speed sheave drives requiring exact speed control and maximum range of speed changes.
